Timbuktoo's Of Fremont Indiana Receives Excellence In Business Award

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 15, 2009 – Steuben County Economic Development Corporation presented Chef Tim Barry of Timbuktoo's with a Annual Excellence in Business Award at Trine University on June 8.  Gary Nielander, Executive Director stated that the Award is presented to businesses that have shown a commitment to Steuben County.
Chef Barry's mission for Timbuktoo's is "to give the public a unique food in a relaxing atmosphere provided with excellent service unlike other local restaurants. We accomplish this by offering American Eclectic inspired food and specials from all around the country including New England Seafood, Deep South and Southwest dishes.  All of the soups, sauces and deserts are handmade". Timbuktoo's also carries an extensive wine selection and offers a full bar.

The restaurant is a real log building with loft seating and an attached garden room and bar. The wait staff is very friendly and personable.  We allow our wait staff to bring their own personality to the table. All of these highlights combined will give you a dining experience like no other.

Timbuktoo's was created following the purchase of the Herb Garden. It is located 1 mile east of I-69 on State Road 120. Timbuktoo's specializes in American Eclectic Food. They offer 3 homemade soups each day. They also offer Wild Caught Seafood such as Salmon, Alaskan Pollack,Grouper and Ahi Tuna. All of the Steaks are hand cut and the sauces and pies are also homemade
