Massachusetts farms have a friend in Evenfall Restaurant

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 10, 2009 – Evenfall Restaurant in Haverhill Massachusetts, is featuring locally grown items from local farms that include; lettuces,  tomatoes, beets, radishes, kale, scallions, summer squash, zucchini, broccoli, radishes, and mesclun mix. Starting in mid June many of these items have been found right in their deliciously original summer dinner menu and others are featured in weekly specials as they become available.

Supporting Massachusetts farms and the local economy is nothing new at Evenfall, for years the menu has featured local items like the Massachusetts cheese plate which highlights the sometimes surprising quality of locally produced cheese. Owner Spiro Pappadopoulos puts it this way; "It is really simple actually, we support the local farmers and economy by offering our customers better tasting food, that is produced in a way that is better for the environment. It is the right thing to do."
