Savor Summer's Flavors at the Ritz Carlton Lobby Lounge

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 08, 2009 – The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, the county’s premier hotel, is introducing seasonal specials in The Lounge. Starting on July 15 and running through August, guests can savor Summer’s flavors with seasonal cocktails, as well as aromatic and sweet dishes that evoke warm weather and the carefree spirit of Summer.
The Lounge table will be adorned with lemons, lemon leaf and lavender to set the Summer mood, while guests enjoy featured cocktails like a Peach Bellini, Summer Ale, or Lemonade  -- both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.  The signature small plate will offer Heirloom Tomatoes with Yellow and Pink Watermelon, Almond Crusted Chevre and Mission Fig Granite.  Look for a “Drunken” Peach Linzer Tart as the signature sweet of the season.
The Lounge’s seasonal foods will complement the daily and nightly offerings, which include small presentations such as a shrimp trio, charcuterie plate, cheese selection, tuna tempura, and avocado hand rolls; complete meals like a grilled chicken cobb salad, black angus burger, turkey club or roasted red pepper Panini; and desserts including chocolate fondue, a brownie sundae, coco crème brulee and cookies and milk.
Each season the hotel’s culinary team will introduce a presentation of seasonal specials for guests to enjoy in the comfort of The Lounge, which is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.  For more information, please call (914) 946-5500.
